Hi guys,
Just wanted to inform everyone that the RSS feed is finally fixed! All the filenames and mp3 tags are in order as well. I’d advise everyone to re-subscribe to the feed and grab the correct mp3 files.
To get it to work on your iTunes,
(1) Copy the URL link: extra.chinesepod.com/feed
(2) Open up iTunes and go to “Advance” > “Subscribe to Podcast” section
(3) Paste the URL link: extra.chinesepod.com/feed on the box provided and press OK
You should now get the Saturday Show podcast list post V3 (April 14 onwards)!
Also, due to Youtube problems with Wordpress, we’d put up a link in each podcast instead of an embedded player. We’ve also put up our Youtube channel link on the right hand sidebar.
Have fun everyone!
- Eileen
Are there any plans to put TSS back onto the main iTunes podcast feed? A new user has no change to actually listen to a TSS easily on their iPod. They first have to find this entry. Be technical enough to subscribe or willing to take the time to work out how to do this.
Compared this to the main iTunes podcast which is just a click to subscribe from the iTunes shop podcasts. Why not allow TSS to be a freebie addition to the public RSS. If people really don’t like it and don’t want to hear it they can can beoome a cpod subsriber, create their own rss feed and not select TSS. If people, ie the paying cpod users feel that TSS adds no value to the learning experience they will vote by not selecting TSS in their personal RSS set-ups.
If some of the comments about Aric are half true, cpod learners will sign up so they can remove Aric from the RSS feed :).
ps. personally I think Aric is great and it is interesting to hear about his and Jenny’s personal adventures but I can see how for some people it is as interesting as watching grass grow on the prairie.
L48 is missing from the feed. Presuming you start at L45.
Is L48 perhaps the holiday announcement? If so, forget I mentioned it.
